Before the surgery you want to prepare by improving your immune system to better heal after the surgery. - Improve diet: More protein, less starch, less processed carbohydrates, more berries, more water and less coffee, alcohol, soda and sugar substitutes. Eat more frequent meals.
- Increase sleep: Go to sleep earlier and sleep longer (8-10 hours)
- Increase exercise: Do not overdo.
- Increase, stretching and core strength building (sit-ups)
- Take the following supplements to increase energy, boost immune system, reduce inflammation: L-carnitine, Coenzyme Q10, Omega 3 fish oil, Vitamin C, Alpha lipoic acid, MSM, B complex and folate, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc, Colostrum, Lactoferrin, Vitamin E, Arnica.
